Königlicher Diamant Schmuck der Kaiserin von Bulgarien

Die Hochzeit von Prinz Ferdinand von Bulgarien und der Prinzessin Marie Louise von Parma wurde am 20.April 1893 um 11 Uhr in der Kapelle des Herzogs von Parma gefeiert. Die Messe hielt Mgr. Ghilarde, der Erzbischof von Lucca, der auch eine kurze Ansprache an die Braut und Bräutigam richtete.
Der Herzogs von Parma führte seine Tochter zum Altar und Prinz Ferdinand reicht seinen Arm seiner Mutter, Prinzessin Clementine. Die Hochzeit fand unter der Anwesenheit der Familien-Mitglieder des Hauses Coburg und Orleans statt, sowie war Don Carlos und die bulgarischen Minister anwesend.
Als Trauzeugen fungierten der Herzog de la Grazia und Graf Mensdorff.
Don Carlos verliess die Villa Viareggio sofort nach der Zeremonie.


Prinz Ferdinand präsentiert seiner Braut eine königlichen Krone mit einem großen Saphir und eine Reihe von Diamanten, Rubinen und Smaragden von Koechert, Wien>>

Saphir-und Diamant-Ohrringe, die einst im Besitz der Königin Marie Antoinette von Frankreich waren.

Eine Kette mit 190 Diamanten und 29 Smaragden

Ein Diadem von Blättern, Blüten, Gold mit Brillanten, das bis heute von den Nachfahren getragen wird>>

Eine Diamant Orchidee, eine Brosche mit einem großen Saphir, eine Reihe von anderen Schmuck-Nadeln, Armbänder und Ohrringe und eine Menge Brüsseler Spitze.

Das Diadem mit Bourbonen-Lilien, oben im Bild, aus Diamanten, besetzt mit Rubin und Smaragden, entsprechend der Landesfarben - grün und rot, war ein Geschenk der Bulgarischen Hauptversammlung und wurde passend zur Krone von Juwelier Köchert in Wien geliefert.

Der Herzog von Parma gab seiner Tochter ein Juwel mit einem großen Smaragd, umgeben von Brillanten als Geschenk.
Prinzessin Clementine, die Bräutigam-Mutter schenkte Ihrer Schwiegertochter eine vier Reihige Perlenkette, eine Aigrette von Rubinen und Diamanten und d'Alençon Spitze.
Königin Victorias Geschenk war eine Silber Vase mit Gravur.
Die Brüder und Schwestern der Braut überreichten eine Diamant Aigrette, Graf und Gräfin Baidi ein kostbares Armband und Don Carlos einige hervorragende Seide Spitze der spanischen Herstellung mit den Wappen von Spanien und Bulgarien.

Zum Hochzeit Frühstück um 11.30 Uhr war für 80 Gäste gedeckt, zusammen mit anderen wertvollen Geschenken wie von der Königin von Portugal, dem König und der Königin von Neapel und dem Prinzen Henry von Battenberg, waren die Hochzeitsgeschenke im Schloss Sandrovo ausgestellt.

Ioanna Witwe von Boris von Bulgarien, oben links im Bild mit dem Diadem ihrer Schwiegermutter und unten links Margarita Gomez Acebo, anlässlich Ihre Hochzeit mit dem Prinzen Simeon von Bulgarien trägt das Diadem als Hochzeitsschmuck.

In the Köchert archives is a group of drawings referring to a commission in 1887 for Prince Ferdinand, later Tsar of Bulgaria and his wife Maria Luisa of Bourbon Parma.

The design for the fleur de lys tiara is seen in the background of the page about Princess Marie Louise of Bourbon Parma. As well, there is a drawing for a coronet with lilies in diamonds, emeralds and rubies, a sapphire on top, onced owned by her.

Above in the picture on the top, Tsaritsa Ioanna of Bulgarian is wearing the Fleur de Lys Tiara, together with the famous rubies of her late mother-in-law, Marie Louise. The demi-parure of rubies is possible made by Chaumet, an similar version of this item are in the archiv of the company.

Giovanna did not wear a tiara for the Italian wedding ceremony, choosing instead to anchor her lace veil with a garland of flowers. Afterward, however, she added the Köchert fleur-de-lis tiara to her ensemble for the wedding luncheon that followed at Villa Constanzi in Assisi.

She wore the tiara again a few days later, when the couple was married again in an orthodox ceremony at the Alexander Nevsky Church in Sofia. Giovanna subsequently took on the Bulgarian version of her name, becoming known as "Tsaritsa Ioanna."

Tsar Boris and Tsaritsa Ioanna had two children, Princess Marie Louise and Prince Simeon, the heir, who med in exil his future wife Margarita.

In 1962, the couple celebrated their marriage with a pair of ceremonies, a civil wedding and an orthodox ceremony, in Lausanne in January. For the religious ceremony, Simeons wife, Margarita Gómez-Acebo y Cejuela, daughter of the Marquess of Cortina, wore the Köchert fleur-de-lis tiara with a tulle veil. The tiara was also worn by Simeon's sister, Princess Marie Louise, for her wedding to Prince Karl of Leiningen in 1957.

It is sayed the Bulgaria Fleur de Lys Tiara still exist, but is in the vault.
