Necklace, brooch and earrings of pink pearls and diamonds are from Queen Victoria and presented to her daughter Princess Beatrice when she married Prince Henry of Battenberg in 1885. Some of the pearls are in the hair, which was probably later redesigned as an aigrette for her daughter.
Princess Henry gave this demi parure to her daughter Victoria Eugenia on the occasion of her marriage in 1906 with the King of Spain. It must have been a very special royal wedding present for the future Spanish Queen!
