The diamond and ruby parure was made by the court jeweler Koechert in
Vienna for the Archduchess Maria Immaculata (1878-1968) of the Tuscany
branch. It was part of her wedding presents, when she married in Vienna on 29th October 1900
Robert, Duke of Württemberg 1873 -1947.
From the imperial court news of Vienna in October 1900 the following is noted..... During these days the Trousseau of Archduchess Maria Immaculata Raineria in the Palais Rainer was open to the public.
A large glass cabinet contains the precious jewellery of the Archduchess bride.
A magnificent tiara of brilliant-cut diamonds and rubies of high value and the noblest artistic work, dedicated by Archduke Rainer and Archduchess Marie, has emerged from the Koechert studio, as well the pea-sized five-row pearl necklace belonging to the trousseau.

Rosalia was born in Baden bei Wien, 3 September 1878.
In two large halls the treasures were piled up, which form the equipment of the archduchess, a third room seized the
rich and precious wedding gifts offered to the young couple.
An impressive dinner service for 36 persons shows in a row large cassettes with bowls, plates and cups, cutlery etc. in silver, it is the gift of the archduke and the archduchess Rainer; beside it stands a magnificent and rich silver toilet service.
The bride's siblings have presented a large set of silver centrepieces.
Archduke Ludwig Victor donated a silver mokka set and a pensée representing a pansy brooch.

a necklace made of brilliant-cut diamonds joined together in 25 rings (visible in the upper right corner of the duchess's neck), next to it in the showcase we see a magnificent jewellery made of brilliant-cut diamonds and large pearls, a diadem, a collar, brooches and bracelets.
The bridegroom's parents, Duke P h i l i p p and Duchess Maria Theresa von W ü r t t e m b e r g, gave an extremely precious pendant with brilliant-cut diamonds and coloured precious stones and
amethyst jewellery and diamonds consist of earrings, a necklace and a comb.
Duke Albrecht and Duchess Margaretha Sophia of Wurtemberg a half-diadem of opals and diamonds.
From the other brothers and sisters of the groom came magnificent jewellery made of pearls and diamonds.
From Duchess Adelgunde of Modena is a diamond brooch.
A golden bracelet came from Princess Maria Christina of Bourbon, the bride of Archduke Peter;
Likewise a golden bracelet of Infanta Isabel of Spain.
Archduchess Elisabeth offered a white Chine parasol with point-lace and precious handle, Archduchess Elisabeth Marie a dark blue one with gold button, Count and Countess of C a s e r t a a large vase, Duke and Duchess of Calabria a lace fan.
Of the two precious lace compartments which still found room in the jewellery cupboard, one is decorated with painting and with a monogram
and crown in brilliant-cut diamonds and rubies from the mother-of-pearl wrapper, a gift from the groom.
