A diamond circular pendant with three amethyst flowers was the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Leopold de Rothschild and is probably the jewel which the Duchess is wearing in the picture.
On display in the glass case are the Royal wedding presents and gifts. The top shelf gives us a small glimpse of the diamond tiara, the gift of King George V and Queen Mary, while the tiara from Queen Alexandra is seen below.
