Brigitte Duchess of Gloucester wearing the diamond link sautoir with brilliant and baguette diamond pendant . It was part of the wedding presents given to Princess Alice from the Lord Mayor, the Court of Aldermen, the Bank of England and certain other City banks, Lloyd's and the Baltic. The long Art deco necklace is versatile and could be worn in this long version as well as a short chain, or as a four row bracelet which is seen above. The pendant is also a brooch and wearable as pin. The jewel was made by the Crown Jeweller Garrard.
Together with the matching:
Diamond Bracelet with triangle and baguette diamond motifs which is in the right picture in the middle of the casket also from the Lord Mayor of London, the Aldermen, Bank of England, Stock Exchange, Lloyds & Baltic Exchange. She is wearing also the bracelet.
The Cambridge Pink Topaz Brooch with Diamonds was left to the Duchess of Gloucester, and could seen on her above in the picture. Another Pink Topaz jewel is on her wrist, as an large oval pink topaz and diamond bangle. The Pink Topaz brooch is a heirloom of the Duchess of Cambridge.
