Flaminia von Hohenzollern married Károly Stipsicz de Ternova in 2020 in a civil ceremony in St. Anton.
One year late, the wedding bells have rung for Princess Flaminia von Hohenzollern and her husband Károly Stipsicz de Ternova: The church wedding took place on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Above in the picture the bride, she wears the diamond trefoil diadem, a version of the trefoil crown that the princesses of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen wear to the wedding.
It is made according to a design by Gebr. Kreuter, Hanau, and ordered by Courtjeweller Johann Georg Zimmerer 1848-1922
The Princess already wore this modified diamond clover tiara version to the wedding in the Princely House of Wertheim-Freudenberg, on the occasion of the wedding of Princess Sophie zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg and Count Constantin Fugger von Babenhausen with the matching diamond clover earpendants.
After the civil wedding last year in the Austrian ski resort of St. Anton, the couple chose the Sigmaringen town church St. Johann for the church wedding.
There has not been an aristocratic wedding in Sigmaringen for decades: Prince Karl Friedrich married his first wife in 1985 in the Beuron monastery church, and Karl Friedrich celebrated his second wedding at his Baden country estate in Umkirch near Freiburg.
Now, 29-year-old Flaminia is getting married, the first of his four children. After getting engaged in a ski lift in St. Anton am Arlberg in 2018, the aristocratic couple actually wanted to get married last year. This also succeeded at the registry office, but the church wedding planned for July had to be postponed due to the corona.
A cocktail was given at Sigmaringen Castle, the ancestral seat of the Princes of Hohenzollern, after the wedding. Then there was an "open air" celebration in tents in the princely park of the country house in Krauchenwies.
