Brillant, wiederum umgeben von Brillanten.
Perlenanhänger von ca. 63 grains mit einem Ring aus 20 Brillanten,
mit doppelter/zweireihiger Umrandung aus gleichgroßen/ calibriérten
Brillianten und Rubinen.
Brosche aus einem Schmuckknoten mit Brillanten, die zwei freihängende
birnenförmige Perlen von ca. 62 grains halten.
Devant de Corsage ("Brosche, vor der Korsage getragen")
mit Blumenarabeske (Akanthusblätter), verziert mit einer birnenförmigen
Perle und einem Anhänger aus drei freihängenden birnenförmigen
Perlen.
Ohrhänger aus grauen Tropfenperlen von ca. 161 grains, an beweglichen
Gliedern mit Diamantrosen und Brillanten.
Mit einem Totalerlöse von 3 470 000 Francs endete die spektakuläre
Versteigerung in Lausanne, der in Vevey verstorbenen Prinzessin Vera
Lobanow de Rostow, geborene Prinzessin Dolgorouky. Dies sind alles
natürliche Perlen, Zuchtperlen waren zu dieser Zeit noch nicht
bekannt in dieser Qualität und Grösse. Ein enormer Wert
zu der damaligen Zeit, ein wahrer Schatz an Perlen.

Earrings made of gray drop pearls of approximately 161 grains, on movable links with rose-cut diamonds and brilliant-cut diamonds.
The spectacular auction in Lausanne, dedicated to Princess Vera Lobanow de Rostow, née Princess Dolgorouky, who died in Vevey, ended with total proceeds of 3,470,000 francs. These are all natural pearls; cultured pearls of this quality and size were unknown at the time. An enormous value at the time, a true treasure trove of pearls.
Vera Lobanoff de Rostoff, became a widow at a very
young age, and was left with a great fortune. Being a woman of independent
means allowed her to pursue her passion for the arts.
She lived in a beautiful palace in Moscow, surrounded
by a vast park. In this residence, which she liked to call "her
small Hermitage", she accumulated a large collection of beautiful
and interesting things imported from all over the world. She also
possessed an important gallery of family portraits. Her house was
a model of Slavic elegance and refined luxury.
