Spanish Royal Jewels and the story...It is an important brooch in the Art Deco style, consisting of two sugarloaf emerald cabochons, one oval size and one cushion size. It is very likely that they were two separate brooches that the Queen Victoria Eugenia of Spain, decided to wear sometime in the fashion of the 1920s, has to be put together in one piece as we see in picture.
Wearing the single brooch in 1913 the Queen was pictured on the left side with the cluster brooch with 21 Oldmine Diamonds..
Queen Victoria Eugenia decided to give it to her granddaughter Princess Alessandra 'Sandra' Torlonia, daughter of Infanta Beatriz of Spain Princess of Civitella-Cesif.
