Oben im Bild ein Smaragd Diamant Collier um 1880 ehemals aus dem Besitz der Prinzessin Ludmilla Princessin von Croÿ, Prinzessin von Arenberg.

Darunter im Bild Prinzessin Isabella verheiratet mit Franz von Bayern, trug das Collier mit insgesamt 3 Tropfenanhängern aus Smaragd, der mittlere grosse Smaragd-Tropfen>> im Detail. Die prächtige Smaragd-Kette, wird als eine Reihe von zehn Smaragden im Treppenschliff oder oval facettiert, abwechselnd montiert mit Diamant besetzen Bögen jeweils mit einem Kissenförmigen Diamanten. Die Cluster der Kette und der Diamant Ornamente sind alle einzeln und auseinandernehmbar.

Das Paar Smaragd-Tropfen mit der Diamantkarmoisierung wurde später auch als Ohrhänger getragen.
Prinzessin Isabella war die Tochter von Ludmilla Herzogin von Croy ( Ludmilla d´Arenberg 1870-1953),verheiratet mit Karl von Croy, dieser Smaragd-Schmuck war in der Familie bis 1985, der Aufrufpreis in der Auktion in Genf war 700 000 - 1 000 000 SFR.

The emerald and diamond necklace (illustrated above) that once belonged to Ludmilla Princess Croÿ, nee Princess Arenberg (1870-1953), from the German family of Arenberg which dates back to the 12th century.

The magnificent necklace, which was made in circa 1880, is designed as a row of ten step-cut emeralds each mounted within a petalled border of cushion-shaped diamonds and alternating with diamond-set bow motifs. The pair of pendants en suite, the pear-shaped emerald and diamond cluster drops. The earpendants are used also as ear pendants. The clusters of the necklace and the diamond-set bow links are all detachable.
