Her granddaughter, Infanta Beatriz of Spain, daughter of Alfonso XIII and Queen Ena, wears one of the elements as bracelet, pictured wearing the diamond rose with five petals. In 1935, she married Alessandro Torlonia, Prince of Civitella Cesi.
The original set was with white central pearls, but could be replaced by emeralds or, as in the picture, with black pearls. These black pearls also belonged to Maria Cristina, notice the 3 row string of pearls as bracelet on her arm.
Queen Maria Christina, Archduchess of Austria, received, as a wedding gift from the Queen of Spain, a parure of emeralds and diamonds.
This emerald parure also consisted of a set of flowerheads with leaves, but the leaves are serrated, like these leaves of diamonds, which the queen wore as a choker on a velvet band, together with her famous diamond stomacher.
Above we see Princess Beatrice of Great Britain, Princess of Battenberg, her grandmother, on the right, her mother Queen Ena of Spain, and 1st child daughter Princess Vittoria Torlonia. Infanta Beatriz, named after her grandmother is sitting in front.
