Das Collier hat Prinzessin Sibylla ihrer Tochter
Birgitta hinterlassen, die es des öfteren bei passenden Gelegenheiten
und Familienfesten trug, zuletzt im Jahr 1996 am Geburtstag ihres Bruders
König Carl Gustaf von Schweden. Das Diadem auf dem Bild im Zentrum
und rechts ist die "Connaught Tiara", ein Diadem das von Königin
Silvia noch heute getragen wird.
Die Artdeco
Brosche mit Diamanten und Saphir in der Mitte auf ihrem Ausschnitt
ist von ihrer Tochter Prinzessin Desiree erst kürzlich getragen
worden.

The necklace was bequeathed by Princess Sibylla of Sweden to her daughter, Princess Birgitta of Sweden–Hohenzollern, who wore it repeatedly at appropriate occasions and family celebrations. It was last documented in 1996, when Princess Birgitta wore it for the birthday celebration of her brother, King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
The tiara shown in the central and right-hand images is the Connaught Tiara, a historic jewel that is still worn today by Queen Silvia of Sweden.
The Art Deco brooch set with diamonds and a central sapphire, worn at the neckline, has recently been worn by Princess Désirée of Sweden, Baroness Silfverschiöld, another daughter of Princess Sibylla—highlighting how these jewels continued to circulate within the immediate family.
Further photographs of the necklace worn by Princess Sibylla are available. The diamond diadem seen in earlier images once belonged to Crown Princess Margareta, adding an additional historical layer to the context of these jewels.
