Prinzessin Beatrice mit einem auffälligen Schmuck in Form einer grossen Diamant besetzten Bourbonenlilie.
Als der Familie Bourbon zugehörig ist es ein Schmuck der aus der Familie ihres Mannes stammen. Das Bild oben wure anlässlich der Hochzeit Ihrer Nichte Mignon Prinzessin Marie von Rumänien mit König Alexander von Serbien, in Belgrad im Jahr 1922 aufgenommen.
Eine Aufnahme aus dem Archiv von Maison Chaumet,Paris zeigt die große Lilie mit Diamanten besetzt und in der Mitte eine Reihe großer Edelsteine im Verlauf mit Reiherfedern. Die heraldische Brosche kann im Haar getragen werden - oder als Devante de Corsage wie auch als Anhänger wie im Bild oben.
Maison Chaumet Paris ist und war der bevorzugte Juwelier der französischen Bourbonen Familien und auch der Familie Orleans. Es sind mehrer dieser Bourbonenlilien gefertigt worden meist Ende des 19. Jhd dies ist jedoch die mit Abstand, größte Lilie die bekannt ist.

The brooch is in form of a heraldic fleur-de-lys or Bourbon lily. The effect of the brooche is achieved by their balanced proportions and the ingenious distribution of diamonds shich are arranged so that they are grouped around one larger diamond or follow the outlin of the border. In the center the lily are lined of cutted gemstones. The brooch can also be worn as decorative hair ornament together with the feathers or without, as pendant on a chain as seen above or pinned as brooch.
Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice Leopoldine Victoria was born on
Easter Sunday, 1884--the youngest of the four dangerously beautiful
daughters of the Duke of Edinburgh, Queen Victoria´s second son.
He had married the only daughter of the Emperor Alexander II ten years
earlier. The Princess, known in the family as " Baby Bee",
was born at Eastwell Park, Kent, a large country house.
