Some of the the most important jewelery in the vast Royal collection are pieces left to the late Queen Mother by Mrs. Grenville as this pearl and diamond earrings as triangles, she wore often herself, see on top on the right side.
The large pearls of the pearl earrings are held on the lobes of a triangle with a diamond, twelve diamonds v-shaped lines of diamonds worked in a triangle.
The late Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon was born in 1930. It was first seen in public wearing the earrings in the year 1959, probably a gift from her mother Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, arround her engagement with Antony.
Lady Sarah Snowdon, who famously wore the triangle pearl-earrings on wedding day to Daniel Chatto in 1994, inherited the special pieces following her mother's death. The late royal's jewellery is originally belonged to Dame Margaret Helen Greville, Hon Mrs Ronald Greville.
The rose but diamond pin, on the hat is also a royal jewel with history, the diamond collet and pearl necklace was a gift from grandmother Queen Mary to Princess Margret. The diamond dogwood brooch, is presented to her on the Canadian Tour in 1958.
