A BROOCH FOR THE PRINCESS
Princess Margaret was given a platinum regimental brooch studded with seventy-five diamonds, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, yesterday when she attended a drumhead service at the home of the Suffolk Regiment at Bury St. Edmunds. Princess Margaret, Colonel-In- Chlef of the Suffolk Regiment, paid her first visit to the home of the regiment at Gibraltar barracks The brooch, which in platinum and precious stones representing the badge of the Regiment, was subscribed by some 1.300 past and present officers and men of the Regiment.
