Above another royal wedding gift to Margaret Evelyn Cambridge, Marchioness of Cambridge, the sixth child and third daughter of the 1st Duke of Westminster.
When she married Adolphus of Teck 1894, 1st Marquess of Cambridge her was given a fine diamond and pearl crescent, from Edward and Alexandra, the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The crescent ornament was matching the diamond crescent Teck Tiara.
The Dowager Marchioness of Cambridge wore the halfmoon or crescent diamond pearl brooch, in her later years. The pearl necklace was later seen on her daughter-in-law Dorothy Hastings, Marchioness of Cambridge.
