Spectacular diamond jewelry belonged Lady Victoria Sackville.
Victoria Josefa Dolores Catalina Sackville-West, Lady Sackville 1862 – 1936 married her first cousin Lionel Edward Sackville-West, 3rd Baron Sackville.
The family lived mainly at Knole House, an estate that had been in the Sackville family for centuries.
Victoria Sackville was the daughter of Lionel's uncle, the owner of Knole and Pepita, a Spanish dancer and mother of Vita Sackville West.
She wore the diamond ribbon and bow garland tiara from the year 1885, in the wedding gifts noted as: diamond tiara, in the shape of a knotted rope.
It was seen again in 1937 on the occassion of the Coronation, above in the picture, with the daughter-in-law of Vita Sackville-West.
