The Women of Hampshire Brooch. Presented to the Princess Mary, by a committee chaired by the Duchess of Wellington.
The pavé-set top with claw-set collet brilliants in the form of a foliage spray, with hinged loop for
use as a pendant, suspending three bell-flowers, from which hang a pavé-set baroque pearl and two pear-shaped diamond pendants with open-back settings; the pearl and diamond drops are detachable.
The brooch/pendant of diamonds and pearls valued at £775 from the women of Hampshire.
The 'Harebell' brooch made as a pendant jewel from Garrard & Co., 1893. 6 × 3.8 cm. The pearl was used on the Lover’s Knot Tiara in 1913 (QMJewelInventory 1893–1953 fol. 129)for the second row on top and was presumably replaced on the brooch when that tiara was altered in 1932.
The young Duchess of York wore the Women of Hampshire jewels, sometimes in the early years as diamond aigrette ornament.
Converted into a brooch by Queen Mary and bequeathed by her to Elizabeth II in 1953.

Diamant-Perlen Brosche Anhänger| Hochzeitsgeschenk der Queen Mary von
England
Diamantanhänger mit großer Perle, ein Geschenk der Frauen von Hampshire anlässlich der Vermählung von Mary Prinzessin von Teck, der späteren Königin Mary von England. Übrreicht wurde der Schmuck von der Herzogin von Wellington als Vorsitzende des Komitees. Gefertigt 1893 von Garrard in Gold, Silber mit Diamanten und einer grossen Perle.
Der Schmuck ist Pave mit Brillanten und Diamanten ausgefasste hat drei glockenförmigen Blüten aus denen zwei birnenförmigen Diamantanhänger und eine barocke Perle hängen - die abnehmbar sind.
Der Anhänger wurde auf Wunsch von Königin Mary als Brosche umgearbeitet. Sie trug die "Women of Hampshire"-Brosche, links oben im Bild, zur Taufe von Prinz Charles und vermachte diese Brosche 1953 Königin Elizabeth II. ihrer Enkeltochter, die sie oben im Bild rechts trägt.
Die Perle wurde 1913 zeitweilige, in der Loversknot Tiara als 2.Reihe und Spitze von Königin Mary genutzt, jedoch 1932 wieder in die Brosche zurückgeführt.
