One of the wedding gifts from the Duke of York to his bride was a jewelled heart set in diamonds, with a diamond bow and a pink gemstone as center, probably an faceted pink sapphire. Now in the Royal Collection where it is described as, gold and jewelled pin brooch in the form of a heart with many brilliants openly set around a pink stone, suspended from a jewelled ribbon. Above Queen Mary, when she was Duchess of York, in the picture wearing the bow brooch with ribbon.
