The wedding gift from the Emperor and Empress of Russia, to Princess Mary, later Queen Mary, was a diamond curb chain bracelet with an diagonal center of an Sapphire Cabochon and Diamond Ornament.

Queen Alexandra's sister, the Empress Feodorovna of Russia and her husband, gave Princess May of Teck this unusual brooch of a large square cut diamond and sugar loaf cabochon sapphire set in a scroll frame of large diamonds as a wedding present in 1893, which was earlier a center of a curb-bracelet.
Princess Mary, Duchess of York on the wedding day 6 Jul 1893, wore the original sapphire and diamond bracelet, as bridal jewel on her left arm and is pictured below.
The brooch was given in 1953 to Queen Elizabeth II.>>
