The following is a list of the jewellery Princess Alice received at her marriage. The details are from an article in The Times on July 5, 1862.
From Her Majesty The Queen - A very beautiful tiara of diamonds, composed of a rich bandeau, with foliage, spires, from Messrs Garrard, and a pearl and diamond brooch, with pearl pendant, from Messrs. Hancock’s; the former designed and the latter chosen by his Royal Highness the Prince Consort.
By his Royal Highness the Prince Consort – A opal cross(worne as bridal jewelry), two opal brooches, and a pair of opal earrings, all in very fine opals and diamonds. From Messrs Garrard. The opal cross pendant and brooch, was later left to her daughter Princess Irene of Hessen.
From Her Majesty The Queen and the Prince Consort- Gold, Diamond, Seed Pearl and Enamel bracelet Gothic style strapwork and foliate engraved decoration within dark blue enamelled borders
By his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales – A parure of very fine sapphires and diamonds, consisting of a necklace and brocch, a pair of earrings and a bracelet. From Messrs Garrard. Both this and the proceeding selected by his Royal Highness the Prince Consort.
By their Royal Highnesses Prince Alfred, Prince Arthur, and Prince Leopold – Three keep rings, diamond, ruby, and Emerald. From Messrs. Emanuel.
By their Royal Highnesses Princess Helena, Princess Louise, and Princess Beatrice - A locket and pair of earrings in turquoise and diamonds, from Messrs Hancock;
a diamond rose, sprig bouquet, which had belonged to her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent.

By Her Imperial Majesty the Empress of Russia – A bandeau of 35 collets of large fine diamonds.
By their Grand Ducal Highnesses the Prince and Princess Charles of Hesse – A large and very fine diamond stomacher
By her Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge -a diamond bracelet of classical design, with three very fine specimens of pink coral mounted in the centre upon a dove goloured ground. The bracelet was manufactured by Mr Hancock, jewller to the Queen.
By His Grand Ducal Highness Prince Louis of Hesse – A pair of large and very fine top and drop diamond earrings.
By their Grand Ducal Highnesses Prince Henry, Princess Anna, and Prince William – A blue enamel bracelet with three pearl and diamond stars.
From the Maharajah Duleep Singh – A magnificent white silk fan mounted in carved mother-of-pearl and gold sticks; the two outsides ornamented with pearls and emeralds, and Princess Alice’s cipher in rubies and diamonds. On one side the Rose of England carved from a large ruby, with lieved with lilac enamel, having her Royal Higness Monogram of A.M.M. the initials of Alice Maude Mary, in diamonds, rubies and emeralds blende. The Reverse side is smewhat similar in design, but having orange blossoms and buds composed of large pearls with leaves of cut emeralds, and the monogram as before, but in Gothic letters. The loop of the fan is formed by the letters. D:S. in Sanscrit, his Highness orniental monogram, from which is suspendd a gold chain with two large emeralds for tassels, and a number of pearls place at intervals between the lings. 
From His Majesty the King of the Belgians – A diamond and emerald linked bracelet.
From Her Imperial Highness the Grand Duchess Alexander, Alexandra Constantine of Russia – A gold heart-shaped locket, suspended by a gold-chain; on one side the miniature of the Grand Duchess Alexander (Constantine) of Russia set in diamonds, on the reverse the arms of the Grand Duchess.
From their Majesties the King and Queen of Prussia – A gold bracelet, with a centre of sapphires and diamonds.
From the Marquess of Breadalbane – An electic gold-band bracelet, the centre composed of diamonds and rubies, with a large Scotch pearl in the centre. Pendants to the bracelets of Scottish pearls and rubies to correspond.
The Countess of Fife - a richly silver gilt jewel casket, with a guardian angel at each corner, surmunted by a large cairngorm set in gold, engraved around "cairngorm from Mar Forest" the key formed of her Royal Highness coronet, the whole richly engraved with Rose, Shamrock and Thistle with monogram and bearing a suitable inscription. The stone is a rrrremarkable specimen and is found of great beauty and size on the Mar estate.
