Rubies and Diamonds FROM THE OLD ROYAL COLLECTION, MADE FOR THE DUCHESS OF ANGOULEME , DAUGHTER OF LOUIS XVI and Marie-Antoinette, created in 1816 by crown jeweler Meniere.
When the ruby and diamond Parure was sold on 21. May 1887, the pair of earrings and pendants are offered for 20000 Francs and sold for 25200 Francs to the French jeweler Boin Taburet together with the ruby and diamond pendantif. They have not been seen for 134 years.
One of the diamond ruby earring with pendant survived, now as a brooch.
Christie’s offered it, at auction, in November 2021.

Als Tatjana Priscilla Walburga Marie Gräfin von Waldburg zu Zeil und Hohenems, die älteste Tochter von Franz-Clemens von Waldburg zu Zeil und Hohenems und Stephanie von Blanckenstein, am Wochenende heiratete, trug die Braut einen Teil des Kaisergeschenks, ihrer Ur-Ur-Urgroßmutter, als Diamant Diadem.
Der Adel aus Europa ist am Samstag nach Hohenems gekommen, um eine Hochzeit zu feiern. Die älteste Tochter von Nini und Franz-Clemens Waldburg-Zeil, Tatjana Waldburg-Zeil, hat in der Hohenemser Kirche Sankt Karl den Salzburger Industriellen-Sohn Philipp Eisl geheiratet. Adelige aus zwölf Nationen sind dafür angereist.
480 Gäste aus der ganzen Welt sind zur Hochzeit von Tatjana Waldburg-Zeil und Philipp Eisl in Hohenems geladen. Für die Damen lautet der Dresscode Kurzes Kleid und Hut – fast alle hielten sich daran.

Der Einzug in die festlich geschmückte Pfarrkirche St. Karl ist minutiös geplant – den Start macht der Bräutigam mit seiner Mutter, gefolgt von der Brautmutter mit dem Vater des Bräutigams, den Geschwistern und Großeltern des Brautpaars. Source: ORF

Duchess Camilla of Cornwall, wore Princess Marie Louise’s Diamond Sunburst brooch for the first time.
This diamond all diamond fringe brooch features a diamond cluster surrounded by a ray of fringes with a fringe pendant. It was given to Queen Victoria on her Accession, and she lent it to her daughter Princess Christian for the occasion of the tsar’s coronation in 1896.
The Sunburst, was originally shared between the British Princess Helena Victoria and Princess Marie Louise, both granddaughters of Queen Victoria. It was most likely inherited from their mother, Princess Helena of Great Britain, Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. The Princess Helena Victoria died in 1948 followed by Princess Marie Louise in 1956. The brooch was bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother and was now seen at first time-worn by Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall in 2021.

Prinzessin Marie-Astrid, die Tochter von Prinz Nikolaus von Liechtenstein wählte am 25. September 2021, nach der kirchlichen Trauung im Dom Santa Maria Assunta von Orbetello mit dem Kinsky Geissblatt Diamant Diadem und stattlichem weißem Brautkleid mit großartiger Schleppe, eine „light“ Variante für den Abend.
Man sieht die Braut im Brautkleid – ohne Ärmel und Schleppe, im Haar mehrere gebündelte Kornähren in Diamanten und Blättern als Haarschmuck.
Sie erinnern an das Kornähren-Diadem der Gräfin Marie Kinsky Dubsky, ein Köchert Entwurf aus dem Jahr 1845, mehr….

Kinsky Jewels | Princess Kinsky – The Kinsky Honeysuckle Tiara dates back to the 19th-century and is made of honeysuckle motifs in diamond, silver and gold. The honeysuckle designs are surrounded by a halo of diamonds, and each element is separated by a vertical torch element. The original version is filled with scroll work, stutted with diamonds and single diamonds on a knife back setting, between the honeysuckle pedals.

On 25th September, Princess Astrid of Liechtenstein wore the Kinsky Honeysuckle Diamond Tiara, as bridal jewel.

Princess Marie Astrid of Liechtenstein and her husband Ralph Wonthington married today at Duomo di Orbetello, Tuscany.
The bride wore a gown with French sleeves and a V-neckline both in the front and in the back. But if something stood out about him, it was the embroidery that formed crisscross lines and geometric figures throughout the entire design. Royal wedding in Sicily: Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon, Two Sicilies Duke of Noto, will marry his Charlotte in Monreale.
The royal wedding will be celebrated today, the 25th September in the town on the outskirts of Palermo.
The Bourbon Two Sicilies and their 200 guests from the European royal families and “Duosiciliana” family which, characterized by a spanish sober lifestyle, is a combination of tradition and modernity.
It seems that after the religious ceremony in the Cathedral, the spouses and guests will move to the royal palace- giardini dell’Ars for an apéritif, and then reach Palazzo Mazzarino where the royal lunch will be held.
Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies was born in Madrid on 30 June 1996. He is the eldest son of the head of the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, Prince Don Pedro, Duke of Calabria, Count of Caserta and Donna Sofia Landaluce y Melgarejo, great-grandson of the Dukes of San Fernando de Quiroga. Lady Charlotte Diana Lindesay-Bethune is the daughter of James Randolph Lindesay-Bethune, 16th Earl of Lindsay, and Diana Mary Chamberlayne-Macdonald, Countess of Lindsay, daughter of a gentleman to the Queen.
