Probably the tiara was versatile and Queen Alexandra used the frame, to wear the cluster with the cabochons sapphires of here imperial sapphire collar as a tiara.
In 1889 her daughter Louise Princess Royal married the Duke of Fife, to this occassion, it was in the newspapers, the Queen wore a sapphires and diamond tiara. Auguste Viktoria Friederike Luise Feodora Jenny of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg was the wife of Emperor Wilhelm II and as such from 1888 to 1918 German Empress and Queen of Prussia.
The empress often wore this large oval diamond brooch and Devante de Corsage and was shown in different pictures. The large faceted oval sapphire is framed by 20 evenly sized diamonds and two larger diamonds on the short lengths. A large, even pearl hangs movable on the brooch with an eyelet and three diamonds. There are flourishes made of diamonds on both sides.

When the founder of the jewel house Moira died in November 2020, it came up to the light, the historic smaller parure fragments are owned by her.

The princess wears a necklace made of small flowers alternately set in diamonds and sapphires, the same size and workmanship, which can be lengthened or shortened as a choker close to the neck. The ear-studs in the lower part match the necklace, a sapphire framed with diamonds.
Archduchess Margarethe Klementine Maria of Austria 1870-1955, was a member of the Hungarian line of the House of Habsburg and an Archduchess of Austria by birth.
She married Albert, 8th Prince of Thurn and Taxis in 1890, the Prince ordered for her the sapphire and diamond parure by Kreuter, Hanau from older jewels and jewelry to rebuild a new versatile Parure, see above. In 1894, she was first time pictured with the tiara and the necklace.

The diadem was designed by the court jeweler Duval in St Petersburg in 1825, see design drawing in the link – and also produced.
Originally, 16 acacia branches set with diamonds were to be arranged as ornaments, as provided in the design. In the original, however, it was much more.
Alternating with this, flower ornaments with diamonds and a sapphire and 2 diamond roses were placed in the diadem.
The „S“-shaped diamond volutes connect the different ornaments with each other.
The base ring consisted of 9 sapphires framed by diamonds and alternating four diamond intermediate parts.
The center of the tiara consists of two sapphires. A crescent-shaped cabochon sapphire and an oval sapphire together form a rosette.
The diadem was originally designed as a Kokoshnik, then as a Coronet crown.

This sapphire jewellery was made for the decoration of the Maria Pavlovna Romanova, Grand Duchess of Russia Мария Павловна Романова, at the same time as the Trousseau of her sister Grand Duchess Anna Pavlovna, later Queen of the Netherlands.
Grand Duchess Feodora of Saxe-Weimar wore the parure – as in the picture with the smaller version of the sapphire necklace. For the wedding of her daughter to Prince Schwarzburg-Rudolfstadt, the Grand Duchess is depicted with the large version of the parure.
A parure of sapphire and diamond tiara, sapphire necklace, sapphire stomacher, sapphire earrings and two sapphire bracelets that the Duchess of Cambridge, Queen Mary’s grandmother, gave to her eldest daughter Augusta in 1843 when she married the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
