Princess Marie Louise Diamond Sunburst Brooch| Royal JeweL History

Duchess Camilla of Cornwall, wore Princess Marie Louise’s Diamond Sunburst brooch for the first time.

This diamond all diamond fringe brooch features a diamond cluster surrounded by a ray of fringes with a fringe pendant. It was given to Queen Victoria on her Accession, and she lent it to her daughter Princess Christian for the occasion of the tsar’s coronation in 1896.

The Sunburst, was originally shared between the British Princess Helena Victoria and Princess Marie Louise, both granddaughters of Queen Victoria. It was most likely inherited from their mother, Princess Helena of Great Britain, Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. The Princess Helena Victoria died in 1948 followed by Princess Marie Louise in 1956. The brooch was bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother and was now seen at first time-worn by Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall in 2021.

Royal wedding in Sicily: Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon married Lady Charlotte in Monreale Nozze reali in Sicilia

Marriage of the Count of Paris and Isabella d’Orléans Braganza at Palerma in the same place, Palermo Cathedral, in the year 1931.

Royal wedding in Sicily: Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon, Two Sicilies Duke of Noto, will marry his Charlotte in Monreale.

The royal wedding will be celebrated today, the 25th September in the town on the outskirts of Palermo.

The Bourbon Two Sicilies and their 200 guests from the European royal families and “Duosiciliana” family which, characterized by a spanish sober lifestyle, is a combination of tradition and modernity.

It seems that after the religious ceremony in the Cathedral, the spouses and guests will move to the royal palace- giardini dell’Ars for an apéritif, and then reach Palazzo Mazzarino where the royal lunch will be held.

Prince Don Jaime of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies was born in Madrid on 30 June 1996. He is the eldest son of the head of the Royal House of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies, Prince Don Pedro, Duke of Calabria, Count of Caserta and Donna Sofia Landaluce y Melgarejo, great-grandson of the Dukes of San Fernando de Quiroga. Lady Charlotte Diana Lindesay-Bethune is the daughter of James Randolph Lindesay-Bethune, 16th Earl of Lindsay, and Diana Mary Chamberlayne-Macdonald, Countess of Lindsay, daughter of a gentleman to the Queen.

From Franck „History of Famous Jewels and Collections“ board :
This list was only made from a juridical point of view following the information we have in our possession. Obviously, we do not have access to the protocol of divorce.
